*A note to our newsletter readers – we mistakenly labeled this as a review, though what follows is an announcement and description of the show.
One death is a tragedy – are four deaths a crime? Nothing is what is seems in a deceptively sleepy English village.
Based on the classic Agatha Christie mystery, “Murder Is Easy” (2023) tells the story of Luke Fitzwilliam who finds himself on the trail of a serial killer after meeting Miss Pinkerton on a train to London. She tells him about a series of suspicious deaths that have taken place in her village.
When she later turns up dead herself – while on the way to visit Scotland Yard – Fitzwilliam realizes he needs to find the killer before yet more bodies start piling up.
The two-part series features Penelope Wilton (Downton Abbey), Morfydd Clark (The Personal History of David Copperfield), and Douglas Henshall (Shetland). The BritBox Original also stars David Jonsson (Endeavour) and Tom Riley (The Nevers).
Shown on BBC, Agatha Christie’s “Murder is Easy” is the latest Agatha Christie Adaptation from BritBox, ITV and Mammoth Screen.
Both episodes will be available exclusively on BritBox March 1, 2024.
